Founded in 1999, the livestock export centre has been operational since 2001. It originated as a Languedoc-Roussillon Elevage Regional EIG initiative instigated by the Sète Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

By January 1st2023, 1 977 230 head of cattle and 554 218 head of sheep had transited here since its foundation.

Trade has been varied, owing to fluctuating exchange and petroleum rates or to health crises.

Over the past 20 years, we have seen an average annual increase of 19% in livestock exports.
